A gem or gemstone
is a type of crystal which is capable of being cut and polished for use in
jewelry or other ornamental uses. Gems are most commonly mineral crystals. Minerals are naturally occurring,
inorganic, crystalline solids of definite chemical composition. However, there
are also a few types that are actually rocks, fossils or organic materials, not
minerals.
Around 130 different minerals are being used in gem
formation. Diamond, sapphire,
ruby, emerald and almost all of the birthstone gems are formed from minerals.
Few gems are created from rock or mineraloid. Like lapis lazuli, a blue and sometimes
white or gold stone. Unakite is pink, green and white form of granite. Opal, which
is a hydrated amorphous form of silica.
Lastly,
few organic elements are also included in gemstone category; such as amber,
jet, pearl and coral.
Every gemstone has unique power to provide planetary
support in order to get success in life. The gemstones are for lifetime, so
measuring the quality of gemstone is very crucial. Obviously the gemstone will
be bit expensive if it is genuine.
According to best astrologer in Delhi, every
genuine gemstone is a natural creation. So it will obviously have some flaws. A
genuine gemstone will always have some mineral inclusion or micro fracture; it
can never be perfect or glass clean. So don’t judge any gemstone by its glitter
or picture perfectness. We should always pick gemstones by its quality and should
buy from reliable source.
Don’t be confused by marketing and selling
tricks applied by gemstone shops and jewelers. A good astrologer cum
gemologist can guide you and provide you best quality gemstone so that you
can get the exact result as promised.
